PE and sport is so much more than just physical education. Over the years it has developed to incorporate a wider range of sports and activities. Sport develops confidence, encourages teamwork and social skills as well as helping everyone to keep fit and be active.

Sainsbury’s
Active Kids
Davies Sports have been involved with the Sainsbury’s Active Kids programme since 2005 and have worked with Sainsbury’s to help deliver over £100 million of equipment to over 35,000 schools since the Active Kids scheme began.

Golf Foundation
The Golf Foundation asked us to help them support the development of junior golf through schools so we worked together to create a series of golf kits, Tri-Golf and Golf Xtreme, to ensure that all primary and secondary school pupils had the chance to experience golf and follow a structured pathway that links a school activity to a follow on activity at local facilities in the area.

Total Dance, Gymnastics and Swimming
We’ve teamed up with Total Dance, Total Gymnastics and Total Swimming. Working closely with Olympic medallist Steve Parry, Triple World Champion Beth Tweddle and World Class choreographer Danny Price to launch exclusive resources to help you teach dance, gymnastics and swimming. Wheelchair Football Association
Davies Sports works in partnership with the Wheelchair Football Association. The fast paced, fast growing sport of Powerchair Football is fully backed by Davies Sports. We have exclusively developed the balls that are used in match and practice situations. Designed to empower those who have very little or no choice in participating in sports activities, the Wheelchair Football is available in 2 sizes to gain optimum contact between chair and ball to enable great control. Youth Sports Trust
As a Business Partner member we work closely with the Youth Sports Trust. We both passionately believe in using the power of sport to improve the lives of young people to ensure everyone has the chance to experience and enjoy different types of activity at whatever level is right for them, by receiving the best teaching, coaching and resources possible and having the chance to progress. Above all, we want to help young people to live healthy and active lives and to be the best they can be.

Fit for Football
Working with Fit for Football we are reaching out to children and their families to help them lead a healthier lifestyle using football as the theme to promote health and well-being. This programme can be used to support the delivery of PHSE as well as PE. Through innovative and fun games and activities it promotes the key healthier lifestyle message of physical activity, eating a healthier balance of foods and not smoking.
