Nav Bisla, a volunteer coach from Beaconsfield Squash Club, talks about the importance of trying something new. People often ignore the clubs on their doorstep, but Nav encourages everyone to get involved in their community and get active. Squash is a high intensity sport that is over in only 40 minutes, making it easy to fit it into the day. Squash can teach key skills such as hand eye co-ordination, endurance and concentration.
At the Sports Nut taster session, the club had the Sure Shot rebound wall on the day to bring squash outside to get people engaged, whilst primarily being an indoor sport. The taster day allowed children to get involved and get a real taste for Squash.
